We have full time positions for APOSTC certified officers, we also entertain candidates that would require attending the police academy. Requirements to attend academy can be found on the APOSTC web page https://www.apostc.alabama.gov/.
Our benefits package is beyond most departments, apostc certified officers or lateral officers starting pay will determine experience, and credentials. All new hire officers will start from Step 1 of our pay schedule unless the Chief approves a step increase due to experience or special qualifications.
